As many of you are aware, our office and most of our employees are located in Leakesville, Mississippi. Hurricane Zeta brought severe damage, currently leaving the town and surrounding areas with no power or water. The Universal team is doing what we can to give back to our community. Our team is working tirelessly to get locals back up and running by setting up various temporary generator systems to restore power for pharmaceutical refrigeration systems, water stations, restaurants, along with others. We are also in the process of repairing roof damage to one of the nursing homes in town and clearing debris where we can.
The photos show two of our temporary generator systems. One is going to provide temporary power to restore water to the town, and the other is going to provide temporary power to a local restaurant.
Lana Dobbins, owner of Universal Services, said it best, “We want to support our locals that have supported us from the very beginning ❤️” Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the storm. Thank you to our employees for always rising to the challenge!
