At Universal Services, Project Manager Wilson Watler is responsible for total project management including controlling budgets, negotiating subcontracts, and providing day-to-day communication with the project team to ensure jobs remain on schedule and within budget. A team player, Wilson holds an excellent track record of strong working relationships with owners, architects, and engineers, resulting in successful construction experiences.
He began his career as a Buyer and evolved into positions including Senior Subcontracts Manager, Director of Subcontracts for notable EPC Firms. Working in both foreign and domestic environments, Wilson has a vast understanding of construction projects.
Wilson has over 30 years' experience overseeing all phases of multi-million-dollar construction projects, including infrastructure, nuclear power and petrochemical projects for both government and private sector clients. Other highlights of his work include extensive heavy mechanical, structural steel, mechanical improvements, high pressure ASME code piping systems, ASME code vessels, and improvement projects of both occupied and unoccupied spaces.
Wilson also has a broad background in construction contract scenarios, including design-build, guaranteed maximum price (GMP), cost plus fixed fee, and firm fixed price. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to work with clients such as U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, US Air Force, NASA, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Chevron, Exxon Mobil and Halliburton to name a few. back
