Lana Dobbins is a 2002 graduate of the The University of Southern Mississippi and co-founder and co-owner of Universal Services LLC. What began in 2004 as a small, home-based residential electrical and HVAC service company serving the local community generated first-year sales of just over $35,000.

Driven by a shared vision for growth, service, and quality, Lana and co-owner Ryan Dobbins strategically expanded the company into the industrial, commercial, and marine sectors. Today, Universal Services operates across multiple states, employs more than 150 team members, and generates annual sales exceeding $29 million.

Built on the principles of innovation, integrity, and diversity, the company continues to experience progressive growth while maintaining a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

As Chief Executive Officer, Lana oversees the company’s daily operations and long-term strategic direction. Her responsibilities include streamlining management systems, supervising department managers, monitoring budgets, improving operational efficiency, coordinating audits, analyzing financial performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service across all divisions.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Lana considers her most important and rewarding role to be that of a mother to her three children.

Ryan Dobbins is the co-founder and co-owner of Universal Services LLC. He is a 2002 graduate of the University of South Alabama, where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

As General Manager of Universal Services, Ryan oversees daily field operations and plays a critical role in guiding the company’s strategic growth and operational success. With a strong technical background and extensive industry experience, he possesses a comprehensive understanding of complex and dynamic construction projects across multiple sectors.

Ryan’s responsibilities include formulating company policies, managing field operations, budgeting, project planning, and coordinating the effective use of materials and personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and above customer expectations.

As one of the company’s primary visionaries, Ryan has been a consistent driving force behind Universal Services’ rapid and sustained growth. His leadership, innovation, and commitment to excellence continue to shape the company’s long-term success and reputation within the industry.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family.

Tim Rogers brings 32 years of experience to Universal Services. Mr. Rogers joined Universal in 2013 as the General Manager of our Jackson, MS branch. His responsibilities include overseeing daily business branch operations, implementing a business growth strategy, supervising projects, estimating new work opportunities, establishing a positive work environment and culture, and ensuring a positive and successful end product for both client and Universal. He is a graduate of Hinds Community College with a degree in Applied Science – HVAC. Before coming on board with Universal, he worked for 18 Years with The Trane Company holding numerous positions and responsibilities including: HVAC Technician, Building Automation, Service Coordinator, National Account Manager, and Existing Building Sales.

Wayne Tribble has been a part of the Universal Services team since 2008 when he served as an electrical supervisor responsible for managing industrial electrical projects on a contract basis.  Wayne joined the company full-time in December 2017 as an electrical estimator/project manager and has overall responsibility for all electrical project cost estimation.  He prepares cost estimates & contract bids/proposals; communicates with clients, vendors, engineers, architects, owners, contractors & subcontractors; determines scope of work and prices field change orders.  Wayne is also responsible for tracking projects from conception to completion and reviewing actual costs to ensure accurate allocation enabling up to date organizational cost standards to maintain competitiveness.

Wayne began his electrical career back in 1993 as an electrical apprentice at Ingalls Shipbuilding taking on progressively more challenging assignments over the years until eventually taking on the role of superintendent for multiple projects with various contractors.  Over the years he has attained several certifications including NCCER Plus, Fiber Optic Association, Inc., NFPA 70E among several others.

Wayne and his wife Lisa have two daughters, Ashleigh & Halle, and reside in Greene County, MS.

Brent Albrecht has been a valued member of Universal Services since 2007 and currently serves as HVAC Service Manager. In this role, he leads and supports a team of service technicians, overseeing scheduling, project coordination, and technical guidance to ensure service demands are met efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

As HVAC Service Manager, Mr. Albrecht is responsible for establishing project budgets, goals, and operational objectives to ensure successful outcomes for both the client and Universal Services. He brings extensive experience in the HVAC industry, having worked with clients including Southern Pines Gas, Florida Gas, ExxonMobil, Hood Container, and Continental Tire.

Throughout his career, Brent has managed a wide range of projects across the commercial, industrial, and federal sectors, including facilities such as hospitals, churches, and universities.

Since joining the company in 2016 as an electrician, he has worked his way into a Project Manager role, successfully overseeing multiple projects at once with strong leadership and hands-on industry experience. His dedication, work ethic, and ability to manage both people and projects have made him a valuable part of the company’s continued growth.

Outside of work, he has a passion for cars, especially fast ones, and enjoys anything related to the automotive world. He and his wife, Gabrielle, have two children and make a strong team both at home and professionally, balancing family life with shared support and commitment.

Jose was born and raised in Mexico. While there, he completed his college education at UTEZ in Mexico, earning a bachelor's degree in maintenance. After college, Jose relocated to America where he successfully became a proud citizen of the United States.
Joining Universal in 2019 as a helper, Jose quickly worked his way up the ladder. Now, he assumes the roles of Shop Manager and PM Coordinator. His responsibilities range from estimating and supervising job sites to aiding in design, job planning, and overseeing shop operations, including custom cuts using water and plasma machines. Beyond work, Jose finds joy in playing soccer, working out, and spending quality time with his children.
Jose finds his drive in his family. He shares, "Every day presents challenges, especially coming from a different country. I remind myself that each day is unpredictable, so I give my all and tackle every obstacle head-on."

Keith has been with Universal for a little over two years and has proven to be a valuable asset to our team. Serving as a Senior Project Manager, he oversees projects from start to finish, including scheduling demos and installations, ordering equipment, arranging manpower, and managing communication with all stakeholders. His role is to ensure every project stays on schedule and meets its objectives.

Keith’s drive to succeed comes from his competitive nature and his background in team sports and military service. “I played soccer from third grade through college and while serving in the U.S. Air Force,” he explains. “These experiences taught me the value of teamwork and goal-setting. I’m motivated to get things right the first time, which not only fosters strong client relationships but also strengthens our company’s reputation.”

Keith is the proud father of two successful daughters. In his downtime, he enjoys relaxing with friends, listening to live music, and cheering on Mississippi State and the New Orleans Saints. An outdoor enthusiast, Keith also enjoys NASCAR, golfing, fishing, and boating. He has a passion for cooking and grilling and insists on using real charcoal for the best flavor.

One of Melissa’s greatest joys is being a grandmother to Sadie and Raelynn. Her grandchildren are her heart and her daily reminder of the importance of patience, kindness, and appreciation for life’s meaningful moments.

With over 22 years of experience in the benefits and payroll field, Melissa brings a strong foundation of knowledge, accuracy, and people-focused service to her work. She has also completed OSHA 30 training, reinforcing her commitment to compliance, workplace safety, and operational excellence.
