At Universal Services, we invest in the equipment that makes us stand apart. Universal has recently installed a LJ Welding 40-ton grow line which will help us expedite the manufacturing of tanks, large diameter pipes, and other cylindrical objects. This allows for fast alignment, leveling, and fit-up for cost efficient welding and assemblies of multiple materials (including exotic alloys and stainless steels). The system integrates various features such as data logging, video recording, laser tracking seam alignment, as well as a fully automatic welding system capable of doing long seam welding.
Over the next few weeks we will continue to share some large pipe fabrication that utilizes this equipment that we currently have underway.
